Georgetown, Guyana – (December 10, 2016) His Excellency Brigadier David Granger, MSS, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana extends condolences to the family and friends of late President of the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA) and Managing Director of Safeway Security, Mr. Eon Caesar, who passed away on Friday evening at a hospital in neighbouring Trinidad and Tobago.
Mr. Caesar, who was an Electrical Engineer by profession and whose company was established in 2006 soon after he graduated from the University of the West Indies, will be remembered for his passion for the development of the Information and Communication Technology sector and his ability to find quick solutions to the most challenging of problems.
This passion had earned him a reputation for a high standard of electronic solutions for domestic and public sector security and saw him heading the GMSA’s Security and Governance Sub-committee since 2013, before being elected to serve as President last year.
President Granger expresses deepest sympathy to his wife, Mrs. Saudia Caesar, his two daughters as well as other family members and friends of the late Mr. Eon Caesar.
May his soul rest in peace!
