Georgetown, Guyana – (February 3, 2019) His Excellency David Granger, President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, extends heartfelt condolences at the passing of Mr. Isahak Basir, CCH.
Mr. Basir (87), a former Member of Parliament (MP) died on Friday in the Pomeroon-Supenaam (Region Two). He was awarded the Cacique Crown of Honour (CCH) in 1994 for his work in politics and social work.
