Georgetown, Guyana – (May 7, 2019) First Lady, Mrs. Sandra Granger, this morning, said that she was pleased to see all the participants in the Early Childhood Development Workshop present and eager to embark on the second component of the three-part workshop, as several graduates from past workshops have secured employment in both public and private sector institutions. “One of the young ladies who trained here saved a life because she was the only person who knew what to do when a crisis occurred, and so I’m saying that this is a route of employment for those of you who love it,” Mrs. Granger told the participants at the opening of the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid training. The workshop is being held at the Guyana Red Cross Society (GRCS).
