Georgetown, Guyana – (December 4, 2016) Guyana recently sent a representative to a Higher Education and Teacher Training in Latin America and the Caribbean Forum, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ms. Viola Rowe, Principal of the Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE) attended the two-day Summit, which was conducted from December 2-3.
The Summit was hosted by the World Bank in collaboration with the Organisation of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI) and had as its main objective the creation of a Regional Centre for Teacher Development.
