Georgetown, Guyana – (November 24, 2015) Fifth form student of Queen’s College, 16 year-old Terron Alleyne, who was on Friday robbed of his laptop computer, School Based Assessments (SBA) and school books, today had his laptop replaced by President David Granger. The President made the presentation, to Alleyne, who was accompanied by his father Terrence Allenye, at the Ministry of the Presidency.
The President was made aware of Terron’s plight and in an effort to ensure that nothing gets in the way of his preparations for the upcoming Caribbean Secondary Examination Council (CSEC), the Head of State presented him with the laptop. Terron told the Ministry, that he was on his way home from extra lessons when he was attacked and relieved of his haversack containing the items.
Terron who was delighted to have received the laptop, which will aid in his preparations for CSEC said he will be sitting a total of ten
