Georgetown, Guyana – (May 25, 2017) Guyana will participate in the International Monetary Fund’s Public Investment Management Assessment (PIMA), workshop in St. George’s, Grenada from May 30 – June 2, 2017.
Coming out of Cabinet discussions, it was decided that Financial Analyst II in the Project Cycle Management Division, Ms. Tracy Blair and Head of Regional Planning, Mr. Miguel Choo-Kang of the Ministry of Finance will attend the workshop.
The workshop, which is being conducted by the Caribbean Regional Technical Assistance Centre (CARTAC), will seek to ensure that there exists in participating countries, capacity among officials to manage public investments across the stages of planning, allocation and implementation.
