Georgetown, Guyana – (August 28, 2015) Members of the Indigenous People’s Commission, earlier today, paid a courtesy call on President David Granger. During the brief engagement, the Commission sought the President’s advice on the way forward, since the official life of the body came to an end in April of this year. They have been advised to continue their work as efforts will be made to reconstitute the body.
Also Present at the meeting was Minister of Indigenous People’s Affairs, Sydney Allicock.
