In addition, he said the roads and bridges between Katoka Village, Fly Hill, and Yupukari would be upgraded.
The upgrades to the Parishara-to-Kaicumbay laterite road are also in the pipeline.
Within the last four years, the Government has made infrastructural investments totalling more than $450 million. Nonetheless, the President said that the Government would continuously invest in the people and initiatives that are important to them.
President Ali also announced that more work would be carried out on the Kaicumbay sports ground to bring it on par with other sports facilities in the region.
The Housing Ministry, he said, would also explore the possibilities of developing housing schemes in Kaicumbay and Fly Hill Village.
