Legal Advisor

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Authority of the Police Complaints Authority in the performance of his functions.
  • Conduct legal analysis and research legal matters.
  • Provide advice on legal matters.
  • Draft legal opinions, memoranda, and briefing documents.
  • Review legal material.
  • Formulate formalities regarding settlements of disputes.
  • Monitor the implementation of the legal clauses.
  • Perform any other duties assigned to them by the Police Complaints Authority.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (‘LLB’)
  • Legal Education Certificate (‘LEC’)
  • Must be admitted to practice law
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well a team.
