Georgetown, Guyana – (January 7, 2020) His Excellency David Granger, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, is saddened at the death of Mrs. Vylma Harper, the wife of former Minister of Health and Member of Parliament, the late Dr. Oliver Harper.
She died last evening in Florida, United States of America.
Undoubtedly, she would have served as a tower of strength and support to her husband and contributed to the invaluable service her husband provided to Guyana during his lifetime.
Mrs. Harper also played an active role in the work of the Salvation Army.
President Granger expresses heartfelt sympathy to her children, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
