Georgetown, Guyana – (June 9, 2016) Guyana will participate at the Regional Seminar of the World Organisation for Animal Health’s (OIE) National Focal Points for Veterinary Laboratories from June 28-30 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Dr. Dane Hartley, Laboratory Manager (Ag) of the Guyana Livestock Development Authority’s Veterinary Services Laboratory and Guyana’s Focal Point for Veterinary Laboratories will be representing Guyana at the workshop.
The agenda includes understanding the principle involved in Quality Management in Veterinary testing laboratories and the OIE International Standards that guide them, and other issues.
The OIE will cover the full cost of Guyana’s participation at the seminar.
