Georgetown, Guyana – (November 20, 2015) The Government of Guyana has expressed condolences on the passing of Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security, Angela Johnson.
Minister of State, Joseph Harmon at this week’s post Cabinet press briefing at the Ministry of the Presidency, said that Johnson was a dedicated public servant.
“Cabinet was informed of the passing of Ms. Angela Johnson. Her long and dedicated public service career and hard work were noted and condolences are extended to her family, friends and staff of the Ministry of Public Security,” Minister Harmon said.
Ms. Johnson died last Friday in hospital after a brief period of illness.
