Georgetown, Guyana – (October 19, 2015) Minister of Social Cohesion, Ms. Amna Ally, earlier today, facilitated a meeting with Dr. Joan Nwasike, the Head of the Public Sector Governance Unit of Commonwealth Secretariat. Also attending the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of the Presidency, were Augustus Cole, Adviser on Public Finance Management at the Public Sector Governance Unit and Reginald Brotherson, Permanent Secretary of the Public Service Ministry.
During the meeting discussions were held on the issue of revamping the public sector with the aim of making it more efficient.
