Georgetown, Guyana – (August 21, 2015) Amid calls for an engagement with President David Granger, Minister of State, Joseph Harmon has announced that His Excellency is set to meet with the National media in early September.
Minister Harmon made the disclosure at the post cabinet press briefing today at the Ministry of the Presidency.
This engagement, he said, will be done as soon as the President is settled at State House.
“What I can say to you is that the President understands your concern and he will hold a media briefing with all the media houses at State House as soon as he is fully settled. The media will be the first persons he will interact with there and this will happen in early September,” Minister Harmon told the media operatives.
