Georgetown, Guyana – (August 19, 2015) Pastor Karmanand Ramesh and other members of the Family of God Cathedral, Number Two Village Canje, were earlier today facilitated on a tour of the Ministry of the Presidency. The group was also privileged to meet and interact with President David Granger.
The President used the opportunity to tell the group about the daily operations of the Ministry. The Head of State stressed the importance of an education, the need to stay grounded in the religious teachings, family and work.
Reminding the young people that they are the future of the nation, the President said that his administration will do all in its power to secure their future.
Meanwhile, the Head of State was presented with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the church and the Pastor of the church thanked the President for facilitating the tour, as he noted that his congregation stands ready to support any initiative that supports youth development in the country.
“We know that they (children) are not only the future of our country. They are our present resources…we see it as an honor and we want to work with you and this government, we want to be part of the scheme of things to make our country happy.”
